The rods are there to eliminate the need for a base... and to present the heads vertically.
The giant appeared because it provided me with a structure that allowed me to develop the work vertically.
The second you smash the mirror, it becomes a visual object that exists super-intensely in the world.
I really like the idea that formal responsibility comes from within the sculpture, that the latter defines its own form.
That is actually the first one that I made with more things than gold chain.
